Monday Inspiration: Yesterday I was kinda dragging as I was getting ready for church. It was gloomy outside and I was just overall tired. But as I was getting ready I said, “Lord, I need a word today!”. When I said that, of course I was talking about the message that my Pastor was going to preach about. However, the “word” came before we even got to the preaching. The word came in the songs that were sung during Praise and Worship. The word came in the testimony that was shared. The word came in the prayer that happened after the testimony was shared. I was balling 😭 ok!!! The word even came after the service was over, in a conversation with two of my sisters! The word came during a meeting after service! The takeaway from everything that happened yesterday is: 1. Tell God what you need from him. He already knows, but sometimes he needs to hear us say it, before he gives it to us. 2. What you are looking for or need, may not come in the manner that you think it will. But it’s still what you were looking for or needed. God doesn’t just bless us one way. 3. God knows our hearts and he is behind the scenes making all those desires of our hearts happen. He’s making it happen even better than what we envisioned. He has worked out every single detail. Let’s stop minimizing God and what he can do! He is the creator of all things! He is a miracle worker! He is a provider! He is a healer! He is a promise keeper! He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly anything we could ever ask for or think!
