Girl, stand up! That’s what I had to tell myself! With so much going on, I literally felt like I was drowning! I was letting all that was wrong consume me! When I did that, it kept me stuck in a place that I saw no way out of. Like everything and everyone was moving, but me. The word, “move”, popped in my head. To move, you have to take action, so that meant whatever I needed to do to get from point A to B, was going to require me to get out of my head and put some action behind the things I needed and wanted to do. Me replaying events over and over in my mind wasn’t going to change anything! I was going to stay in that same dark place! I was going to keep feeling like I was drowning! I know when it seems like everything, including the kitchen sink is being thrown at you, life can feel heavy! You feel like you are in the deepest part of the ocean! However, when you stand up, you realize it’s not that deep at all! You’re still able to move! You aren’t stuck! Your head was above water this entire time! You aren’t drowning! As long as you have breath in your lungs, you can make the necessary changes to live the life you always imagined! The life that you were created to live! So girl, STAND UP!!! You got this!!! We got this!!!
