On Purpose

Anytime I send my husband a message before work telling him to have a wonderful day, I always include “on purpose”. It’s something that I started doing intentionally, because I know how stressful his job can be sometimes. I too, understand how having a high demanding job can affect you. I want him to be intentional about setting the tone for his day. What are some things that you need to do “on purpose” today or even this week to set the tone for it? For me, routines help. I like to be prepared as much as possible. I do understand that sometimes I may have to pivot, but being prepared helps me even in those situations. Last week, I started a new health plan for myself. I know that eating healthy is hard me for when I’m not prepared. It’s just easier to grab some fries from McDonalds, so I made sure I meal prepped. I didn’t want to leave myself in a situation where I would have to make a quick choice about what I was going to eat. I also know that working out is hard for me, so I planned that out as well. Having the workout routine planned and setting an alarm on my phone, is a great reminder each day to get the workout in. What are some things that help you achieve your goals? Write them down and be intentional about following what you wrote down. It’s never too late to start and it’s ok if you have to start over again and again! Let’s make this a wonderful, goals filled day, ON PURPOSE!!!🌻
