Sometimes you’ve got to stop right in the middle of what you’re doing and give yourself a pep talk.
I had one of those moments today.
I’m trying to catch up on schoolwork after recently having surgery, and honestly… I just wanted to quit. I’m behind, I’m exhausted, I’m still healing, and I simply don’t feel like I have the energy to do it.
This journey is hard as hell.
But I also know I’m not a quitter.
So I stopped what I was doing, bowed my head, and prayed. I asked God to give me the strength to keep going when I felt like I had nothing left to give.
Then I reminded myself why I started.
I’m choosing to focus on the end goal instead of how difficult this season feels. One assignment. One step. One prayer at a time.
If you’re facing a challenge today—whether it’s your health, school, work, grief, or something no one else knows you’re carrying—I hope this reminds you that it’s okay to pause. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to admit this season is hard.
Just don’t give up.
You are stronger than you feel in this moment. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.
We’re going to make it through this.
